Weeks after my first mammogram, I got the news I had breast cancer and would have to have a breast removed. My surgeon referred me to Dr. Appel for reconstructive surgery. My whole life was turned around and I have never been so scared. At my first visit with Dr. Appel, he and his office staff made me and my family very confident that he was the right doctor for me.

I had a bilateral mastectomy and started the reconstruction right away. After two successful reconstructive surgeries, I chose to have a tummy tuck and I have never been so happy. Everyone that sees before and after pictures cannot believe the difference.
